Bathtime! For new parents it can actually be quite daunting having to dunk your precious bundle into a tub of water, so anything that makes it a little easier is only to be welcomed.
We bought the Shnuggle bath for our first daughter mainly because I had seen it everywhere online at the time. It’s nothing fancy at all, just a basic bath. But there are a couple of little things that I liked about it.
The back of the bath is raised, so that baby can recline against it with full support up their back and behind their head. The front of the bath is lower so you don’t have to reach down into the bath, making it easier for you to wash baby. Size-wise this bath is supposed to do up to 12 months but depending on the length of your child you may get more (or less) time than that.
Inside, there is a non-slip material up the back of the bath, and a little hump in the base of the bath to prevent baby from scooting forwards. I think this would be better if the non-slip material was along the bottom of the bath too, as it’s still a little slippy even though the hump stops too much movement.
There are a few different colour options (we went for the white and light grey) and they cost around £25 / €30.
My score for the Shnuggle Bath: 9/10
